How to do the Walking Lunges
- Stand tall with dumbbells at your sides (or bodyweight)
- Take a big step forward with your right leg
- Lower your back knee toward the floor until both knees are at 90 degrees
- Push through your front heel to step forward
- Immediately step forward with the left leg into the next lunge
- Continue alternating for the prescribed reps
Form tips
- Keep your torso upright — don't lean forward
- Front knee tracks over your toes, not past them
- Back knee hovers just above the floor
- Take controlled steps — not too long, not too short
