Lean against a wall to stretch the calf muscles. Do both gastrocnemius (knee straight) and soleus (knee bent) versions.

How to do the Calf Stretch (Wall)

  1. Face a wall, hands at shoulder height
  2. Step one leg back, keeping the heel on the floor
  3. Front knee bends, back leg straight
  4. Lean into the wall — feel stretch in upper calf
  5. For soleus: bend the back knee slightly — feel stretch lower in calf
  6. Hold each variation 30 seconds, switch sides

Form tips

  • Keep back heel planted
  • Both straight-knee and bent-knee versions for full coverage
